Updated/Fixed Materials:

  • Brushed Metal - fixed normals issue
  • Anisotropic Brushed Metal - Added brushed normal parameter for a more realistic look
  • Wire reveal, node group data block was missing causing it to look black
  • Tech Grid Materials now have a switch to go from UV to Position(Default). Now if you use them on a plane the material lines will be aligned to the grid and will have 1 unit in size half unit for the 2nd mark and 1/10 units for the smaller mark.
  • Added roughness and color control to Generic Wood Clearcoat

Updated/Fixed GN Assets

-Added Circular Array tool back as requested (more limited than Polygonal Array, but simpler to use if you only need a circular array).
-Tile Surface - Buildings - Fixed a small gap between tiles and grout that was more evident at higher tile height values. Improved precision with more complex objects.
-Bookshelf - Furniture - Fixed random values when instances are realized.
-Array on Curve - fixed the instances rotation to follow the curve normal and tangent. Added "Radius Affects Scale" and "Tilt Affects Rotation" parameters.

-Normal Mask - Added parameter to use local/global normal mask. "Local/Global"

GN Asset Types

-New Geometry Nodes asset type Hair and Fur implemented to quickly add hair and fur to mesh objects.

Decal Tool

  • Decals Gizmo was able to target non local view objects while in local view. FIXED
  • Decals Local Folders was not working in Blender 4.3+ unless the current file was saved. FIXED
  • Custom Decals Alpha any value lower than 1 was being interpreted as 0, making images with less than 1 alpha value not visible. FIXED

Baking Tool

-Modifiers that remove UV Maps, like the Remesh Modifier, didn't disable the Baking button. Leading to an error when a bake job was attempted.
The tool now can identify the modifiers that remove UVMaps and will disable the button accordingly.

Linux

-Addon categories were not sorted in alphabetical order. FIXED

Others

-Tooltip Warnings and descriptions where reworked. If a button is disabled, it will show a red text explaining why it is disabled.
